Manufacturing sugar for over 97 years
We are an agro-industrial company operating in the transformation of sugar cane in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 1925. The plantations and our facilities are located in the town of Kwilu-Ngongo, about 250 km from the Congolese capital.
The Plantations
We have 12,000 hectares of sugar cane plantations that extend to the borders of Angola. The Kwilu and Ngongo rivers, to which the region owes its name, contribute to the water supply of our fields.
Closed Loop production
We strive to implement waste-free and environmentally friendly processes. The residues from the processing of the cane are reused either in related industries to obtain other finished products, or directly to improve the quality of the soil naturally.
