My name is Antoine Kamalandua and I am the stock manager at Compagnie Sucrière. It has now been 25 years since I first joined Compagnie Sucrière as a seasonal worker. For the last ten years, I have been managing our seven stores, with six of them here in Kwilu-Ngongo. The stores have capacities ranging between 4500 to 6000 tonnes. As we only produce once a year, once the sugar is packed at the factory, it is sent here for stocking until it can be delivered. During the inter-campaign period, it is also my duty to work with the commercial department to ensure that sales targets are met and we begin the next sugar campaign with an empty store.
