My name is Quentin Loontjens and I am the Chief Financial Officer here at Compagnie Sucrière. My role at the company is to protect the assets of the company, that is, to reassure the shareholders (the Congolese state and a private Belgian company) about everything that happens at the company in terms of figures and management. It is important that the numbers reflect the decisions made in terms of budget, as well as operational and business decisions. The Finance Office also has the responsibility of confirming the results in the numbers.
